By Lisa Perrotti-Brown in 2020: "With its deep garnet color, the 2010 Pavie offers tantalizing suggestions of candied violets, star anise and tapenade on a heart of prunes, blueberry compote, morello cherries and fruit cake with touches of undergrowth and bouquet garni. Full-bodied, rich and exquisitely opulent, the palate has a rock-solid texture, velvety tannins and a bold freshness that sustains the generous palate of black and blue berry jams and ends on a long, fragrant finish".
