Château Petit Village 2014
Rating: 93/100 – James Suckling.
A 2014 Pomerol with a rather earthy and robust style, offering beautiful concentration and notable power. Less charming than some of its peers from the same vintage, it stands out for its firm tannic structure, which is still a little chewy on the finish. Nevertheless, the fruit is very present and should allow the tannins to harmonize over time. A bottle to wait until 2020 to reveal its full potential.
