GEOGRAPHICAL SITUATION
The village of Aloxe-Corton is located in the northern part of the Côte de Beaune, at the foot of the Corton hill.
CHARACTERISTICS
The wines of Aloxe-Corton are quite powerful and have good ageing potential. They are frequently referred to as the little brother of Cortons.
VINIFICATION AND MATURATION
The grapes, characterized by very black berries, are destemmed and vinified in open vats for about 4 weeks, thus fully revealing all the subtlety of this terroir. After devatting, the wines are placed in oak barrels in our cellars and aged for 18 months.
