Domaine Simon Bize & Fils' Savigny-lès-Beaune 1er Cru Aux Vergelesses is a great Burgundy wine, made from 100% Pinot Noir, the region's emblematic grape variety. This Premier Cru stands out for its elegance and depth. On the palate, it offers a complex range of aromas, combining notes of ripe red fruit such as cherry and raspberry, with subtle hints of spice, undergrowth and sometimes a delicate floral touch. Its structure is fine and silky, underpinned by a fine minerality that gives it freshness and length.
To serve, serve at a temperature of 15-16°C after decanting for around 30 minutes, especially for younger vintages, to release all its rich aromas.
This wine goes wonderfully well with roast poultry, grilled red meats and mature cheeses.This is a cuvée that finely expresses the unique character of the Côte de Beaune terroirs, ideal for accompanying exceptional moments.
