Named Château TROPCHAUD in the XIXth century and bought in 1928 by the DUPUY family who renamed it Château "LA PROVIDENCE", this true gem of Pomerol was acquired by Etablissements Jean-Pierre MOUEIX in 2005. The vineyard, all in one piece and with an average age of 30 years, is located in the core of the famous Pomerol plateau, between L'Eglise and the Château HOSANNA. The dominant Merlot draws all its qualities from a soil that mixes clay and gravel.
