Cuvée Carignan 1903 is an exceptional red wine produced by the Roc des Anges estate in the Roussillon region. This wine is made from old Carignan vines over 100 years old, giving it a unique complexity and depth.

- Serving temperature: We recommend serving this wine between 16 and 18 degrees Celsius. This will allow its aromas and structure to be fully appreciated.
- Aeration: As this is a powerful, concentrated wine, it may benefit from a little aeration before tasting. You can open the bottle 1 to 2 hours before serving, or use a decanter to allow the wine to open up and release all its aromas.
TASTING :
- Appearance: The wine has a deep, intense color, generally ruby red with violet highlights.
- NOSE: On the nose, this wine offers a wide range of complex aromas. You can expect notes of ripe red and black fruits such as black cherry, blackberry and plum. Notes of spice, licorice, tobacco and Mediterranean garrigue may also be present.
- Palate: On the palate, Cuvée Carignan 1903 is full-bodied and concentrated, with ripe, well-integrated tannins. You can expect good structure, with good acidity and a long finish. Black fruit and spice flavors blend harmoniously, offering a complex, refined taste experience.
- Cellaring potential: This wine has excellent cellaring potential. Properly stored, it can evolve and improve for many years, developing further complexity and subtlety. Aging potential: 10 to 15 years.
- It can be enjoyed on its own to fully appreciate its characteristics, or with rich dishes such as grilled meats, stews or mature cheeses.
