Chateau Lilian Ladouys 2022
St Estephe - Cru bourgeois superieur
92/100 James Suckling
Commentary by Zekun Shuai (Senior Editor)
A fresh, slightly reductive style that showcases beautiful aromas of crisp black cherries, subtly spicy redcurrants, and minerality. The palate reveals beautiful tension on the mid-palate, rounded by fine, stony tannins and supported by fairly pronounced acidity. Notes of dried herbs and spices prolong the tasting towards a medium-length finish. A blend of 52% Merlot, 40% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 8% Petit Verdot. Best enjoyed from 2027 onwards.
