Chateau Sigalas-Rabaud 1988
1st grand cru classified of Sauternes
89/100 Parker
Cellaring: Drink now
By Robert M. Parker, Jr. on January 1, 1998: "Typical of the vintage, the 1988 Sigalas Rabaud is an elegant, finesse Sauternes with a lovely toasty/sweet honeyed character, with scents of melon, tropical fruit, and vanillin. More restrained, and not as big, muscular or sweet as the 1989 or 1990, the 1988 is an elegant, complex, medium weight wine."
