The Château Taillefer is the first wine estate acquired by the MOUEIX family. Elegant house with classical architecture, its origin is very old, since the maps of the engineer-geographer, Pierre Belleyme, indicate it was surrounded by vines as early as 1764.

Today property of the children of Bernard MOUEIX, Château Taillefer is frequently awarded medals at tasting competitions. Wine lovers appreciate the complex structure of this elegant and generous cru, with its dark colour and rich bouquet. Its exceptional aptitude for ageing makes Château Taillefer one of Pomerol's most renowned vintages.
