Château Terrey-Gros-Cailloux 2003
Cru Bourgeois de St Julien
Terrey Gros Cailloux is an elegant wine from the Médoc, on Bordeaux's left bank, often from the Pauillac appellation or its neighborhood. The vineyards benefit from gravelly soils, hence the name “Gros Cailloux”, which favor excellent drainage and good grape ripening.
Typically composed of classic Bordeaux grape varieties - with a predominance of Cabernet Sauvignon, complemented by Merlot and sometimes Cabernet Franc or Petit Verdot - this wine is characterized by a fine tannic structure and aromas of black fruits, cedar and spices.
