• Presentation of the cuvée : The Pinot Gris Cuvée Sainte Catherine " is very complex and its terroir is located on the lower slopes of the Grand Cru Schlossberg, in the 5 hectares of the Clos des Capucins. An exceptional terroir which is protected from the winds by the walls surrounding the plots. We find stony soils which preserve and diffuse the heat. All these beautiful conditions allow us to obtain early maturities.

• Residual sugars: They amount to about 13g/l and are perfectly balanced thanks to a subtle aromatic and sharp acidity.

• Tasting notes: We find notes of pears, yellow fruits, apricots with lemony and honeyed nuances. The palate is ample, powerful and perfectly structured. The finish, chiselled and invigorating, allows this unique vintage to be sublime!

• Food and wine pairing : The wines of the Cuvée Sainte Catherine are dry and full-bodied. They love veal, creamed escalopes, risotto, chicken with morels, all poultry, fatty or smoked fish, sushi, sashimi, makis, and lamb. It also goes perfectly with mushrooms.
