St Joseph Parady 2018 - Bernard Gripa
We offer you the second vintage produced from this cuvée. The 2016 vintage was the first of this new cuvée from the Bernard Gripa estate. It comes from the place called "Paradis" in Mauves. It is one of the prettiest terroirs in the Saint Joseph appellation with magnificent granite slopes facing east. These vines produce a more robust Saint Joseph which needed a slightly longer maturing period.
The palate is marked by redcurrant and blackberry which accompanies notes of pepper typical of the region's old syrah. This Saint-Joseph can be drunk now as it already offers great pleasure, but it is imperative to put it in a carafe or open the bottle to air the wine for at least 2 hours. To fully enjoy all its aromas, it is advisable to wait 2 years before drinking it. This wine can be left in the cellar for 7-10 years.
