Tasted by William Kelley on 7 April 2022: "A terrific effort from this large, immaculate property on the clay-limestone slopes of the Côtes de Castillon. Chateau d'Aiguilhe has cherry and black currant aromas intermixed with notions of fiery embers, licorice and warm spices. Concentrated, with lively acids, powdery tannins and a mineral finish. It's smartly aged in vats and large oak as well as small barrels."
