CHARACTERISTICS
Developed by the house's founder, Eugène Moussé, this perpetual cuvée, launched in 2003, pays tribute to the family history. It was first named Carte Or, then Or Tradition, before becoming L'Or d'Eugène. To celebrate the centenary, the range was restructured with the arrival of Eugène.
TERROIR AND SOILS
Origin: Cuisles, Jonquery, Châtillon-sur-Marne.
90% of soils are composed of green clay on calcareous marl.
VINIFICATION
- This perpetual cuvée is made with reserve wines from 2003 to 2020, and each year is enriched with 50% of the new harvest.
- The grapes are harvested by hand, in small crates.
- Malolactic fermentation.
- Use of home-made mine sulfur: 12 mg/L H₂SO₄.
- Residual sugar: 2.5 g/L.
- Sugar added at disgorgement: 2.5 g/L.
AGING
Average maturation of 18 months.

Perfect accompaniment to international street food: pizzas, focaccia, burgers, nuggets, wheat tacos, pita breads, brick pastries, samosas and cheese fritters.
