PRESENTATION OF THE WINE
This parcel is located on the place called Clos de la Cure, which must have belonged to the priest of Thizay, the village next door. These are young vines planted on a very clayey gravel soil, on a northern slope.
It is a dry wine, even if there are 4 or 5 grams of sugar left, with a nice salinity, an acidity that carries the wine on the length. The aroma is round, greedy, with tropical notes. It has been aged in a sandstone jar to respect the expression of its terroir.
Label : Since 1997, the domain is certified in organic agriculture.
Fermented and aged in a 1000 liter sandstone jar for 11 months.
100% Chenin from a 0.4 hectare plot on very clayey gravel and white tufa.
Tasting : Evoking aromas of yellow orchard fruits, the wine offers an impressive volume, balanced by a saving freshness. Ideal to accompany Asian or moderately spicy cuisine."
