Chateauneuf du Pape 1991 - Château Beauchene
Châteauneuf du Pape - Grande Réserve
Châteauneuf-du-Pape Château Beauchêne is an iconic wine from the Bernard family, who have owned the estate since the late 18th century. The vines grow on the appellation's famous rounded pebbles, a guarantee of power and maturity.
Blended around Grenache, with a touch of Syrah and Mourvèdre, the wine offers an intense bouquet of black fruits, spices and garrigue, supported by velvety tannins and beautiful fullness. On the palate, it combines richness and elegance, with a long finish and a hint of liquorice.
Served at around 17°C, this Châteauneuf-du-Pape is the perfect accompaniment to game, rib of beef or mature cheese, and can be kept for 8 to 15 years depending on the vintage.
