Châteauneuf-du-Pape 2014 Vieilles Vignes - Domaine Grand Veneur - Alain Jaume
Domaine Grand Veneur - Alain Jaume
94/100 Parker
Cellaring: Drink now or cellar through 2026.
Tasting note by Jeb Dunnuck in 2016: "A solid notch above the Les Origines release, the 2014 Châteauneuf du Pape Vieilles Vignes is composed of 50% Grenache, 40% Mourvèdre, and 10% Syrah from three separate sites, Cabrières, Coudoulet, and Boislauzon. Beautifully concentrated, with aromas and flavors of cassis, crushed rocks, and toasty garrigue, it is among the best wines of the vintage and will keep for a decade or more (which is no small feat in 2014)."
