Clos de la Roche Grand Cru 2013 Cuvée Vieilles Vignes - Ponsot
(95 - 97)/100 Parker
Cellaring: 2018 - 2040
Tasted by William Kelley in 2018 : " The 2013 Clos de la Roche Cuvée Vieilles Vignes, from vines planted in 1905, has an inviting, delineated bouquet with vibrant notes of wild strawberry, raspberry jam and minerals. The palate has great tension - so suave and balanced with superb symmetry and an effortless finish that I don't think Clos Saint Denis has at the moment. Laurent Ponsot has made no secret of his enthusiasm for this Grand Cru and I can see why."
