Tasting by Yohan Castaing: "Racy and elegant, the Clos Joliette 2002 proves brilliantly in the bottle, offering aromas of white truffle, spices, tangerine, ripe orchard fruits and honey. Medium to full-bodied, satiny and layered with excellent concentration and a phenolic mid palate, it presents a gastronomic bitterness with a long and fragrant finish (kumquat, bitter orange and gingerbread). This is a beautifully balanced wine that is designed to age with thanks. It contains 15.6 grams of residual sugar with a pH of 3.6. Yellow waxed capsules."
