Cornas 2016 Chapelle Saint Pierre - Alain Voge
This is the first vintage of this beautiful cuvée. The terroir is located on the heights of Cornas. A wine with a lot of freshness and with a remarkable fruity side. One will find a tannic structure which remains well in the mouth but without being overpowering. A very good ageing potential.

It is around the "Saint-Pierre-aux-liens" Chapel that Alain Voge planted in 1999 high quality Syrah on the heights of Cornas. Perched at an altitude of 400 metres on granite soils, the Domaine Alain Voge harvests at perfect maturity and starts the fermentation with natural yeasts in stainless steel vats. The wine is then put into barrels for 20 months.
Only 2500 bottles are produced and only in great vintages.
