- Tasted by Joe Czerwinski in 2022: "My favorite of the 2020s from Rostaing - at least until I taste the wines again next year. The crushed stone and red raspberry flavors give the impression of seamless transmission of terroir combined with incredible purity of fruit. Rich and velvety, this is a stunning expression of Cote Rotie that should age effortlessly for a few decades."

- The most tannic of this year's "big three" bottlings, Cote Rotie la Cote Blonde has elegant notes of mixed herbs entwined around bold boysenberry fruit. It has abundant tannins that firm up on the long finish. Embryonic, but so promising, it should blossom in about five years.
