Cordon Bleu Blanc de Noirs - Champagne de Venoge
Champagne Brut
93/100 Parker
Cellaring : Can be drunk now and can be kept for 8 years.
Tasting by Stephan Reinhardt : "It opens with an intense but fine bouquet of red fruits and some ethereal notes like fir needles and juniper. On the palate, it is a round, fresh and delicate champagne! It is seriously structured but very fine, supple, elegant and persistent, with beautiful cherry and blackcurrant flavours on the finish. Simply magnificent!
In 1988, the Blanc de Noirs de Venoge was the first Champagne made exclusively from black grapes to be marketed by a major Champagne House. Today, we continue this tradition with the Cordon Bleu Blanc de Noirs.
TASTING
A wine from the first press, its aromatic palette mixes aromas of lemon, blackcurrant and aniseed. Original, full-bodied, powerful and fresh, its light vinosity makes it the ideal companion for white meats and foie gras.
