The Châteauneuf-du-Pape Lucile Avril 2023, composed of 80% Grenache Noir, 10% Syrah, and 10% Mourvèdre, stands out as a classic expression of the appellation. Revealing aromas of blackberry, kirsch, and raspberry, complemented by notes of garrigue, licorice, and subtle spices, this wine is full-bodied and elegant, with a juicy, fruity core, fine tannins, and sufficient acidity to maintain its freshness. This cuvée is a selection of the best plots of old Grenache de Châteauneuf du Pape from Domaine Durieu. These wines present at the same time fullness, suppleness, tannic structure, complexity, power and length on the palate. A few years of cellaring will enable it to obtain more roundness and a more elegant, full-bodied taste. depth.
