- Tasting : Chinon Clos du Noyer has a brilliant cherry color and a pure, clear, fresh and aromatic bouquet with aromas of blackcurrant and redcurrant as well as lemony and mentholated notes.Silky, round and very elegant on the palate, this is a full-bodied, intense, fruity Chinon with remarkably fine tannins and excellent vitality that carries the harmonious red through to a long, sweet, tangy finish with licorice flavors and a seriously tight tannic structure that intertwines perfectly with the fine acidity of Clos du Noyer, which is clearly the estate's finest red Chinon.
