This Bourgueil ‘Perrières’ has an intense bouquet, dominated by vibrant aromas of red summer fruit and pronounced spicy notes, all in a slightly rustic setting that gives it charm and character. On the palate, the harmony is remarkable, with a long, lingering finish. This exceptional vintage promises great excitement in the years to come.
Terroir : A small parcel of 0.8 hectares located to the east of the Taille aux Loups estate. The forty-year-old vines are planted on a slight south-facing slope. The soil is composed of tufa limestone covered with a layer of clay on the surface.
Vinification and ageing: Destemming followed by fermentation in wooden vats. Vatting lasts three weeks, followed by malolactic fermentation in wooden vats. The wine is aged in barrels, 20% of which are new.
Food pairing: Perfect with aubergine parmesan, roast poularde or pan-fried mushrooms.
