Pommard 1er Cru Les Rugiens – Dominique Laurent is an iconic wine from the Côte de Beaune, produced in a climate renowned for producing some of the most powerful and distinguished Pommard wines. Thanks to the old vines and Dominique Laurent's meticulous aging, it reveals an intense bouquet of black cherry, blackberry, and blackcurrant, enhanced by notes of licorice, spices, and undergrowth. On the palate, it is a structured, deep, and full-bodied wine with firm but elegant tannins, promising beautiful evolution over time.
With its robust yet refined style, this Pommard Les Rugiens is made for aging and will gain complexity over the years, up to 15 or 20 years. It is ideal with dishes full of character such as roast game, matured rib of beef, hare à la royale or mature cheeses.
