Échezeaux Vieilles Vignes – Dominique Laurent is a grand cru from the Côte de Nuits that illustrates all the finesse and power of this prestigious terroir. Made from deeply rooted old vines, it offers a highly complex aromatic expression: intense red and black fruits (cherry, raspberry, blackcurrant), floral notes of peony and violet, enhanced by perfectly integrated woody and spicy nuances. On the palate, it is full-bodied and velvety, with remarkable depth, silky tannins, and a long, persistent finish.
This grand cru is distinguished by its balance between elegance and intensity, and has excellent aging potential, capable of maturing over 15 to 20 years. It pairs well with refined dishes such as Rossini beef tenderloin, roast pigeon, veal sweetbreads with morel mushrooms, or mature soft cheeses. An exceptional wine, worthy of the greatest Burgundy connoisseurs.
