- This cuvée comes from vines that are relatively young for this estate compared with others. The plot was replanted in 1999 in an area known as "les Duresses". Monthélie is also renowned for its great white wines, situated close to Meursault to the north. The soils here are poorer, producing Chardonnay wines that are mineral, fresh and boosted by lively acidity, offering a fine structure.
