Red cherries and fresh garden herbs in the nose. Concentrated and compact palate. Still tightly wound, the power and drive at the finish are very impressive. A touch of licorice here, too. Will need some time, but that's not unusual for this appellation.
Faiveley's Nuits-St-Georges 1er Cru Aux Chaignots is an elegant, structured wine from Burgundy's Côte de Nuits.This vintage has a deep ruby color and reveals complex aromas of black fruits, such as blackberry and blackcurrant, accompanied by subtle notes of undergrowth, spices and leather.
