93/100 Wine Spectator
Tasted by Kristen Bieler in 2023: "A full-bodied, powerful white, with exuberant aromas of flowers, lychee, apricot and green plum, encrusted with tea and dried heather. It shows good concentration on the palate, which is edged with honey and salty minerals. The long finish is driven by the zesty bitterness of grapefruit that keeps it balanced and lively. Drink now through 2030."
TASTING
- Fruit & freshness
- Condrieu "Les Terrasses de l'Empire" is the archetypal fruit wine, with those inimitable aromas of white peach, apricot kernels and white almond, and a finesse that makes the style so charming.
- It is an elegant wine, with a great harmony and a beautiful freshness, which can be enjoyed in its youth.
