Fleurie Vieilles Vignes 2019 Le Clos - Domaine de la Grand Cour
Le Clos de la Grand'Cour is located south of the Fleurie appellation on a plateau at about 300 m altitude. The 6.4 hectare parcel, a monopoly of the Dutraive Family, is based on more or less deep soils on granitic bedrock.
This cuvée de Fleurie is made from the old vines of the clos, aged about eighty years. These cover 1.5 hectares of the plot. The yield obtained for the 2018 vintage is 17 hl/ha.
The grapes were vinified in concrete vats and then the wines were aged in oak barrels for 8 months.
