Cellaring : Wine at maturity. To drink or to collect.

Blend : 75% Cabernet Sauvignon - 22% Merlot - 3% Cabernet Franc

Total surface area of the estate: 90 hectares around the château

Vineyard in production : 55 hectares in one piece

Average age of the vineyard: 38 years

Terroir : Deep gravel on very hilly terrain (hillocks)

Grape variety : 75% Cabernet Sauvignon - 20% Merlot - 5% Cabernet Franc

Plantation density : 10 000 vines/hectare

Vineyard management: exclusively mechanical tillage: ploughing. Vineyard treatment using the "lutte raisonnée" method

Harvesting : exclusively by hand

Sorting of the grapes : Double sorting on a vibrating table before and after destemming

Vinification : Long vatting period (about 3 weeks)

Maturing : In French oak barrels (fine grain) of which 55% is new wood for 16 to 18 months depending on the vintage.
