Hermitage Blanc 2017 Les Miaux - Ferraton Pere & Fils

100% Marsanne.
SOIL
- clay-limestone with sand and small pebbles on the surface,
- alluvial terraces made of rolled pebbles,
- granitic soils.
VINIFICATION
After pressing, the must is cold settled for 24 hours.
Only the native yeasts are responsible for the alcoholic fermentation, which takes place at temperatures between 17 and 21° C.
AGEING
After fermentation, the wine is aged on fine lees (part of it is vinified in oak barrels, the rest in vats).
The wine is matured over a period of 10 to 12 months depending on the vintage.
TASTING
Colour: brilliant, green gold with golden highlights.
Nose: complex, aromas of quince, pear and honey.
Palate: rich wine, aromas of honey, very ripe fruits (peaches, apricots), very long aromatic persistence.
