Chateau l'Arrosée 1982
Grand cru classé de St Emilion
Great Vintage : 95/100 Parker
Cellaring : Drink now. This wine is mature.
Tasted by Robert M. Parker in 2009 : "This wine was tasted from a magnum, as it is the only size I have left in the cellar. A bit of brightness and amber on the edge is followed by amazing aromas of clay soil, undergrowth, kirsch and oak, as well as floral nuances. This silky wine has no sharp edges, just notes of jammy black cherry, plum, fig, earth and spice. Broad and full-bodied, with fully melted tannins, good minerality and a long finish, this is one of the best l'Arrosee's ever made. It has matured for at least a decade, but shows no signs of disintegration."
