Tasted by Lisa Perrotti-Brown on June 18, 2020: "Sporting a deep garnet-purple colour, the 2019 La Gaffeliere reveals a tantalizingly bright and fresh nose of ripe black plums, crushed blackberries and warm black cherries with hints of lavender, star anise, Sichuan pepper and fragrant earth. The black fruit fills the palate completely with loads of crisp, energetic flavours, framed by lovely tannins and a fresh, lively line, finishing with a mineral touch. Irresistibly succulent!"
