Petit Mouton 2009
Pauillac - Second wine of the Château Mouton Rothschild
93/100 Parker
Cellaring potential: Drink now through 2036.
Tasted in 2019 by Lisa Perrotti-Brown: "The 2009 Petit Mouton is a deep garnet color and jumps out of the glass with bold notions of black cherries, warm cassis, and plum jam, as well as notes of menthol, sassafras, black pepper, and tobacco. The palate is all covered in generous dark fruit, framed by plush tannins and tons of freshness, and finishes with a long, lingering finish."
