Dense, highly extracted, very tannic, very backward, with a dense purple color that has changed very little since it was bottled 8 years ago. Wonderful cedar and fruitcake notes intermixed with creme de cassis, licorice, and earthy forest floor notes. It is full-bodied and tannic, with everything in place. 95+/100 Parker
