Tasting notes : "Deep garnet-purple-coloured, the Lynch Bages 2016 comes on strong with pronounced notes of blackcurrant, chocolate-covered cherry, blackberry and menthol, supported by scents of garrigue, ploughed earth and a hint of tapenade. Quite full-bodied, rich and fantastically concentrated, the generous fruit is superbly framed by firm, ripe, grainy tannins, with tons of layers of pepper, cinnamon and clove coming through on the finish. A truly legendary Lynch Bages!"

Grape varieties : 70% Cabernet Sauvignon / 24% Merlot / 3% Cabernet Franc / 3% Petit Verdot.
Ageing : 18 months in French oak barrels (75% new wood)
