Château Monbrison 1995
Cru Bourgeois Margaux
The 1995 Château Monbrison, located in the Margaux appellation, expresses all the finesse and complexity of this great Médoc terroir in a vintage that is both classic and balanced. With its dominant Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot grape varieties, it now offers a deep garnet color with brick-red highlights, an elegant nose of ripe black fruits, blond tobacco, cedar, and undergrowth, and a harmonious palate where the now-mellow tannins support a supple and distinguished body.
At full maturity, this 1995 Monbrison displays beautiful aromatic complexity and a long, velvety finish, typical of Margaux wines with a mature winemaking process. It is ideally enjoyed at 17–18°C after aeration for about an hour, and pairs wonderfully with roasted red meats, beef fillet, or tender game, highlighting its elegance and noble character.
