Mercurey La Perrière 2022 - Michel Sarrazin et Fils
With its deep colour, this frank, lively and fruity cuvée is distinguished above all by its aromatic persistence. It comes from a terroir close to the Premier Crus.
This large estate of 40 hectares is a solid source in the Côte Chalonnaise. Conventionally farmed, yields have averaged 30-35 hectolitres per hectare in recent years, and harvesting is by machine, followed by optical sorting in the cellar. Maceration of the reds is relatively long and both reds and whites are aged in barrels exclusively from the Tonnellerie François Frères.
