- Tasting: The Savigny-lès-Beaune 1er Cru Les Lavières opens in the glass with lovely aromas of peony, rose petals, sweet wild berries, orange peel, raw cocoa and forest floor. Supple and fragrant, it is sumptuous and melting, with crisp acidity and a charming, enveloping profile. It is one of the most seductive wines in the range.
- Geographical location: Located on the foothills of the Pernand-Vergelesses hill, halfway up the hillside.
- Soil and environment: Clay-limestone soil, south facing.
- The vineyard: Vines of about fifty years old.
- The wine: A supple, light and fruity wine with a lot of charm and very coated and delicate tannins.
