Château Lichine Priory 1989
Margaux - 4th Grand Cru Rated
- 88/100 Parker
- TASTING NOTE: Another very successful vintage, the 1989 Prieure-Lichine has a dark garnet color with some amber at the edge. The wine has body, soft tannins, and a sweet nose of cassis intermixed with notes of licorice, smoky herbs, and tobacco. The wine is very lush, with heady alcohol and plenty of glycerin. It's a seductive effort.
- Storage: A well-stored wine, drink now.
