Bourgogne Pinot Noir 2015 - Nicolas Rossignol
- Tasting: The 2015 Bourgogne Rouge comes from Volnay and Pommard and has not been aged in new oak. It has a crisp nose of redcurrant and pomegranate with just a touch of pine needle. The palate holds bright acidity, quite crisp on the palate with a lively, chalky-textured finish.
- Vineyard: A blend of different parcels from the Volnay and Pommard plains.
- Soil and environment: Fairly poor soils with good drainage capacity.
- The vines: Vines aged between 20 and 60 years.
