Chablis Grand Cru Blanchot 2011 - Daniel-Etienne Defaix
Directly from the Daniel-Etienne Defaix Estate
In the nose : White flowers, broom, lime tree. In the mouth: notes of honey, farm butter, minerality (gunflint).
It has a silky structure, seductive as soon as you taste it. It should be served with delicate dishes, beautiful white fish, turbot with hollandaise sauce, sea bass, sole à la normande, scallops
Pearl of the Chablisien! The rarest of the Chablisien appellations. The best exposure on the dome of the appellation, taunting the real frogs of the valley, this vine reigns like a Queen Mother. Planted in 1960, it produces an almost mythical wine of exceptional sensuality. Fat, round and delicately aromatic, silky in structure. Splendid with Oscietra Caviar, or simply as an aperitif.
