Volnay 1er cru Clos des Chênes 2014 - Bouchard Pere & Fils
The name of this Climat comes from an ancient oak wood that has long since disappeared. Bouchard Père & Fils owns 85 ares of this appellation on clay-limestone soil and limestone subsoil, and produces just over 4,000 bottles a year of this Premier Cru not far from the Taillepieds parcel.
- TASTING NOTE: Combines richness and generosity without losing any of the elegance and finesse of Volnay. Rich and concentrated flesh. Very good ageing potential.
