- Lieu-dit: Le Meix Cadot. This Climat encompasses several Lieu-dits: Le Meix Cadot, La Chaume and La Bergerie. Located between the two parcels called "En Guesnes", this Climat reminds us of the existence of an old farm and of the person to whom it belonged. In Burgundy, indeed a meix is a farm and the name that follows indicates the name of the owner. (Cadot is a very frequent patronymic in Saône-et-Loire)
- Geographical situation : Commune of Rully, center of the Appellation with an East orientation. A sunny and precocious parcel.
- Grape variety : Chardonnay
- Vines: Planted in 1975 on a surface of 1 ha 01 ares 47 ca
- Soil and subsoil: Clay and limestone
- Vinification: Manual harvest, direct pressing without crushing, static settling for 48 hours, then put in barrels for the alcoholic fermentation. (20% of new barrels coming exclusively from the Chassin cooperage)
- Aging: 12 months in barrels, then 6 months in stainless steel tanks.
- Bottling: according to the lunar calendar
- Personality: This parcel always gives straight and tense wines, ready to last in time.
