William Kelley’s review: "The 2023 Rully 1er Cru Meix Cadot is magnificent; it exudes notes of apricot, pale honey, toasted nuts, and iodine. With medium-to-full body, a satiny, suave texture, a core of sweet fruit, vibrant acidity, and a long mineral finish, this 'classic' cuvée from the climat comes from vines planted in 1965."
- Lieu-dit: Le Meix Cadot. This Climat encompasses several Lieu-dits: Le Meix Cadot, La Chaume and La Bergerie. Located between the two parcels called "En Guesnes", this Climat reminds us of the existence of an old farm and of the person to whom it belonged. In Burgundy, indeed a meix is a farm and the name that follows indicates the name of the owner. (Cadot is a very frequent patronymic in Saône-et-Loire)
