Sous La Tour 2023 Magnum - Pinot Noir - Bénédicte et Stéphane Tissot

- When to drink this wine : 2026-2033
- Tasting : The grapes for the Pinot Noir Sous La Tour come from a limestone-rich plot near the Tour de Curon (Les Corvées sous la Tour). The grapes were fermented with whole clusters and indigenous yeasts in open oak tanks, and the wine was aged in 228-litre oak barrels for a year. It is livelier than En Barberon, fuller with more ripeness but not excess, and has a strong lime6tone character that gives it a nice texture. The range of Tissot wines is quite wide, and they show that Tissot wines are of a high quality. A very fine wine with a dominant red fruit flavour such as redcurrant, grenadine with a spicy background and extremely fine tannins.
- Appellation : Côtes-du-Jura AOP
