"Blended from the estate's best parcels and produced only in great vintages, Trimbach's brightly coloured 2017 Pinot Gris Réserve Personnelle opens with a clear, fresh and aromatic bouquet of ripe white fruit with hints of caramel. The full, round palate reveals a complex, mineral and vivacious pinot gris, with grip and tension on the finish; long and powerful; but also elegant, saline, lemony and persistent. 

This is a superb Pinot Gris that, fortunately, did not ferment until it was completely dry, but has remarkable balance. This is a great Alsace Pinot Gris to serve with lobster, poultry or white meats. Natural cork. Tasted in January 2023..."
