The 37-hectare Troplong Mondot vineyard is planted with 85% Merlot, 13% Cabernet Sauvignon and 2% Cabernet Franc. Troplong Mondot occupies a large terroir located on the top of the plateau and hillsides of Saint-Émilion, at an altitude that allows you to see the entire village of Saint-Émilion.
26.5 hectares of the vineyard are currently classified as Premier Cru. The 4 hectares of newly added vines come from the purchase of Clos Labarde and Mondote Belile.
The altitude of the highest point reaches more than 100 metres at the top of the plateau, which is the highest point of the whole Saint-Emilion appellation.
